Ftl ship tier list ae. My current tier list. So ftls been out for a while and i figure weve all had enough time to let our opinions of the different ships settle and i thought itd be fun to rank them. The universe of ftl is inhabited by friendly and enemy ships. Halberd beam and leto is an awful awful starting arsenal good for sector 1 2 if youre lucky. These ships come in a variety of layouts and can be equipped with various systems and subsystems weapons drones and augmentations. The one exception in amazing tier would be the pike beam and thats because its fairly easy to get something to break through shields and the trade off is immense.
Even though this ship went down on my tier list i think it got a bit better in ae. Each player ship can carry a maximum of eight crew members of various races with an initial crew of between one and four members. Starting weapons can only be found aboard the ship that has them i include crystal weapons because getting to the crystal sector to buy them is an extremely rare and difficult. The weapons at the top of the list are consistently effective in almost any ship set up. Each ship starts with varying systems weapons power levels. Carnelian the shrike the basilisk the theseus red tail the torus tetragon still has plenty of room to move around.
The only ship ive piloted which more restarts let alone anywhere near as many is the dreadful engi b. Welcome to v21 of the ftl ship tier list. Every ship in ftl can become strong eventually with the right weapons and upgrades just as every civilization can become powerful in the civ games and every champion can dominate in league of legends with enough gold. Im glad i was able to push out a second tier list thanks to plenty of reader feedback. Everything below is obsolete with ae.
